The Kanetsune KC-100 Santoku
with a blade length of 18 cm is a masterfully crafted kitchen knife that stands out for its versatility and outstanding performance. This traditional Japanese knife is ideal for slicing, dicing and chopping meat, fish and vegetables, and its wide blade also makes it easier to pick up the ingredients.
The blade of the Santoku is made of 33 layers of Damascus steel and includes a core of VG10 stainless steel, which is known for its excellent sharpness and long-lasting durability. This combination of materials not only ensures impressive edge retention, but also offers an aesthetically pleasing surface with a characteristic, wave-like pattern. The hardness of the steel enables precise cuts and is robust enough to withstand the demands of daily use.
The ergonomically designed handle is made of black POM, a material known for its strength and hygiene. The handle offers a secure and comfortable grip, allowing fatigue-free handling even during prolonged use. The elegant black of the handle harmonizes perfectly with the Damascus blade and gives the knife a modern and professional look.
The Kanetsune KC 202 Santoku is an excellent choice for any chef seeking a reliable and efficient tool for a wide range of kitchen tasks. It combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern materials to create a knife that delivers outstanding performance in both professional and home kitchens.

The care
After each use, hand-wash knives with mild detergent and warm water. Dry immediately to prevent rust. Maintain wooden handles by protecting them from prolonged water baths and occasionally treating them with wood oil. Avoid contact with acidic foods to protect the blade. Use soft cutting surfaces such as wood or plastic. Sharpen regularly with a whetstone instead of a honing rod. Store knives safely on magnetic strips or in knife blocks. Always follow the manufacturer's specific care instructions for best results.
