The Gyuto Miyabi 5000MCD 67
With the knives in the 5000MCD 67 series, it is immediately clear what makes Damascus knives so fascinating: the wonderful grain of the blade looks like a delicate floral pattern - it is no coincidence that the Damascus steel in this series, which consists of 132 layers, is called "Flower Damascus". The core layer is made of high-quality MC66 steel. Thanks to the special hardening process that every blade goes through, the blade hardness in this series is outstanding even among Miyabi knives: it is approx. 66 HRC.
The "D"-shaped handle with its elegant end cap is no less visually appealing than the blade: Made from unique "Black Ash" wood, it offers a beautiful contrast to the shimmering blade steel. The logo pin in the mosaic design is an eye-catcher.
The material:
The CRYODOR® blade - consisting of 132 layers of steel surrounding a core layer of MC66 powder steel - meets the highest standards in terms of stability and edge retention.

The care
To ensure the longevity and sharpness of your Zwilling knives, clean them after use with warm water and mild detergent. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents and dishwashers. Dry the knives immediately to prevent rust and store them in a dry place.
Use a soft cutting surface to protect the blade. Store knives safely, sharpen them regularly with a whetstone or sharpening rod, and avoid hard surfaces.
These simple care practices ensure that your Zwilling knives always remain in top condition and provide you with optimal cutting results.
